Gabrielle Everall

Bobo like Delilah
bearing her breast
shingled Virginia’s hair¹
scissor sisters
stealing Vita’s

Her Trunk.

Vita’s body
is a tree trunk
Virginia holds
like a chest of arms
climbs like ivy
licking her back
of illnesses
soft lacunas
becoming meat hooks.
