a young girl
knitting by the train
through the window
passing by
the magic in that
rolling weave
remains mysterious
a prestidigitation
a dance within my eyes
joy a spreading warmth
just to see
lost craft
gently living on
I saw a young girl knit today
or so it seemed at first
while she untangled
conduits to hidden song
digital crenellation
walling off the world.
